THE POKER RUN IS BACK

SATURDAY 29 OCTOBER 2011

Who we are
Look beyond the motorcycles and leather and you'll find one of the ACT's most tireless charity groups. The federal chapter of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club dedicates time and resources to raising money for worthy causes, as well as providing a social and support network for its members.
With around 50 members in the chapter, only about 15 are Vietnam veterans wihile the rest comprise veterans from other conflicts, associates members and supporters.
The Club endeavours to put a lot back into the community, more often than not.
Raising money for charity has always been the focus for the club.
We encourage ex-serviceman and serviceman to join and people who have never been in the Defence forces, because we try and impart our experiences and our knowledge to them so that they on a different outlook on life.
We've got a great bunch of younger people. So, as we shuffle off, they shuffle in.
